Common Critical Errors and their Solutions


Error: History: FL2GameData::ObsceneDataLoad <- FL2GameData::Load() <- UGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine
Cause:The client is missing one or more vital files that are required to loadthe game. You have not installed the patch or updater properly, youhave accidently deleted files, or you are not using the right Chronicle.

Solutions: 1. Make sure none of your folders are empty; ie. systextures, staticmeshes, textures, animations.
███████2. If found to be empty, reinstall Lineage 2 after completely removingthe client via Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs.
███████ 3. If step 2 does not work, download a fresh Lineage2 installer

Error: Negative delta time! History: UGameEngine::Tick <- UpdateWorld <- MainLoop

Cause: Your Lineage 2 client could not properly read your CPU clock speeds. This usually only happens with AMD processors.

Error: Failed to enter Entry: Can't find file 'Entry'. History: UGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine

Cause:Your client is missing one or more required files to launch the game.This may also occur if you install the L2 Server patch onto the wrongversion of the game (Hellbound, Gracia, C5, etc).

Solutions:1. Install the patch in the MAIN Lineage II folder, not the systemfolder or anywhere else. Installing it in the wrong place can causethis error.
███████ 2. Update your video card drivers to the latest stable ones.

Cause:This usually appears when you are using modded video card drivers, veryoutdated video card drivers, do not have the .NET Framework installed,or any combination of the three.

Cause: This is 99% ofthe time caused by video card drivers being unable to load textures, orit can be very rarely caused by a missing texture.

Solutions: 1. Update your video card drivers to the latest stable ones.
███████2. If step 1 does not work, do some searching to find out what driverversions work best for your video card. In my case and many others, thelatest drivers have caused issues, and older drivers work much better.

Cause: Another program is intercepting your connection with the Auth server when you click 'Login'. This can be from almost anything.

Solutions:1. If you have an anti-virus program such as AVG, disable all activeprotection while logging in and enable it again only once you areingame.

If you have another Lineage 2 client open of adifferent chronicle (ex. logged into a Gracia Final Part 2 server whiletrying to login to Interlude one), close the other client and restartyour client. Also close any other games that utilise an anti-cheatprogram, whether it be Gameguard, nProtect, etc. You should now be ableto login.
███████ 3. Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc and openthe file 'hosts' with notepad. Other than all lines starting with thecharacter '#', make sure that this is the only line there:

Step 1: install format factory, a freeware program downloadable https://www.brothersoft.com/download-formatfactory-98431.html
Step 2:open the program and open your songs folder

Step 3: select the songs you wish to use and transport them with the mouse to the center of the program window in this way:



when you do this, a new little window will appear and you have to select ALL TO OGG, this way:
then click ok;

Step 4: Click the start button with the green arrow in the upper icons men? (this to be clear: ) and wait for every song to complete;

Step 5: click on output folder in the icons men? ( this ) . In this folder you got your converted songs ready to replace the damn-always-the-same original theme songs of the game; keep this folder opened;

Step 6: open your Lineage 2 pride folder and open the MUSIC folder, and look for the files named:
- NT_Aden.ogg  this is the aden theme song

- NT_DarkElf.ogg this is the dark elf village theme song

- NT_Dion.ogg same for dion theme song

- NT_Dwarf.ogg dwarf village song

- NT_Elf.ogg  elven village song

- NT_Floren.ogg  floran village

- NT_Giran.ogg  the town of giran theme song

- NT_Gludin.ogg my favourite, gludin

- NT_Gludio.ogg ok you got it

- NT_Heiness.ogg  heine song here

- NT_Hunters.ogg  Hunter village here

- NT_Kamael.ogg  kamael village

- NT_Orc.ogg  orc village

- NT_Oren.ogg  (finally last) oren town

Step 7: remember your favourite converted songs? open the output folder (step 5 to open it) , then select 1 song and change the song name with the name of the village's song you want to subscribe. no don t worry here is an  EXAMPLE: in my output folder i have  "dragostea din tei.ogg" and i want to listen to it when i am in gludin village , so i have to change the name from dragostea din tei.ogg into NT_Gludin.ogg. now copy this song and paste it into music folder, you will subscribe the original gludin village song. same process for the other villages.

remember, rename your songs with the EXACT CORRECT names of the original villages songs or it won t work. and remember to make a backup of the original game songs if you don t want to lose them.

QUICK KEYS


Alt+T Show Character's Info.
Alt+C Show Player's Action.
Alt+K Show Player's Skills.
Alt+U Show Quest's Info.
Alt+V Show Player's Inventory.
Alt+B Show Bulletin Board.
Alt+X Show System Options.
Alt+J Close chat window. Open only with ALT+H command.
Alt+W Close Radar. Open only with ALT+H command.
Alt+H Open/Close all windows on screen. Helpful for screenshots.
ESCCancels any action of your character, targeting something. If no targetis selected, no character's action will be cancelled. You also cancancel the usage of Scroll of Escape by selecting your character andpressing ESC.

Tab Same as ALT+V.
Ctrl While pressing PvP starts. Any action is carried out forcibly.

FRIENDS / IGNORE

MOVEMENT

/mountdismount Character Mount or dismount a strider.
/unstuck Move a character that may be trapped and has no Scroll of Escape. After 5 minutes character will appear in nearest town.




TRADE


/trade [character] Send a trade request to chosen character. If agree, trade window opens. Characters have to be close to each other.
/buySet up a private store for buying Private Buy. Up to 3 items can besold at same time. Gnomes can sell up to 5 items at same time.
/vendor Set up a private store for selling Private Sell. Up to 3 items can be bought at same time. Gnome can buy up to 5 items.

MACRO' COMMANDS FOR OFFENSIVE

ex:

-you can use this kind of macro if pressing the ctrl button and thefX buttons in the same time is a pain in the ass for you (and believeme, it is). in few words, u can attack ur unflag'd (no pink name)enemies w/o pressing ctrl button anymore.

/attackforce

-normal attack.  it is like CTRL+/ATTACK . you use it w/o pressing the ctrl button as well.

MACRO' COMMANDS FOR DEFENSIVE

Assist macro's
-u use them to advertise your party members about an upcoming enemy.

ex:
#ASSIST ME. KILL HIM ---> %target
if you target a cool guy .. let's say ME:D .. and you press that macro while i'm ur main target it will look like this:

ASSIST ME. KILL HIM ---> mirjanc88

ofc if u want to advertise ur clan/ally mates u just need to changethe party symbol from beginning (#) to clan/ally symbol (@/$).

-you can use it (assist macro) if u r the healer and some1 attack u.

ex:
#PROTECT THE HEALER ---> %target

EQUIP MACRO's

it's smth like 5 6 actions with just one button .. let's say u putur dc armor (each part) on the 7th tab : f1 - dc helmet / f2 - dc robearmor / f3 - dc gloves / f4 - dc boots .. and ur weap/shield .. f5 -Arcana Mace / f6 - dc shield .. with just one button (macro) u will beable to equip all these sh1ts with just 1 click.

Go to the system folder and open the option.ini with a text editor , you'll find something like this

Before the video line just add

[Engine.GameEngine]
CacheSizeMegs=768 (this number is the mb that you are assigning change it as you want, remember that the OS need free memory)

That 2 lines are assigning more memmory to game while you are playing and it will go faster it helps a lot and is 100% legal

P.S Use '768' if you have 1024 MB of RAM! If you have 512, use 320-, for don't have any instability in your OS. If you have other numbers, only do some operations in a calculator!

This software made my internet connection much less laggy ingame when I set L2.exe's priority as High. So all your internet connection can be focused on an active proccess you chose.

2) When you have L2 or another game opened, open the Windows Task Manager (CTRL + Alt + DEL), try to find the name of the proccess (L2.exe for example), right-click it -> Set Priority -> High.

Leaf’s Sony Vegas Rendering/Editing guide

A lot of people on retail make PvP video’s. There’s more PvP on private servers but no one is making any video’s. Why not? I enjoy making a video, posting it, getting fanbois and showing how pr0 I am to others. You think you’re pr0? Well, start making a PvP video already!

Programs required:
Sony Vegas 4.0, 5.0, 6.0 or 7.0 (I have 5.0 atm)
Fraps (doesn’t really matter, as long as you can record ingame footage)
XviD MPEG-4 Codec for rendering

Recording ingame footage (fraps)

You should use fraps for this (I’ve used fraps 2.5.x and higher and haven’t really seen much difference so the version doesn’t really matter that much). Some people say there’s some better stuff out there for this but don’t listen to them. I’ve tried another program and fraps is a lot better, probably the best program for recording lineage 2. You can use the L2recorder as well but ONLY for intro’s or something. Not for the real PvP because people can’t see your buffs, your HP, nicknames etc… which is pretty boring to watch.

Few things you should know:

- Do not play at a resolution higher than 1152*864. Fraps does not support
resolutions higher than that and it’ll make your video pretty blurry (I play at
1152*864 myself and I like it).
- ALWAYS have your fraps running. I forgot it a few times in the past which
made me cry :(
- If you want to record music you can’t talk on ventrilo, well u can but it will
make some -beep-ed up noice and your E-friends won’t like that. If you really
want to be pr0 you should have 2 computers running, 1 for ventrilo so you can
talk and on the other one you can actually record sound.

As for the other “basic” things you should check out https://www.fraps.com (you can’t get the full retail version there, only the 30 second one. Not going to post a link for the full one cause that ain’t allowed )

Editing/Rendering with Sony Vegas

1. Opening fraps footage into your Sony Vegas

Open Sony Vegas.
Go to File >> New (CTRL+N)

(Or if you forget to do this at the beginning, you can simply press ALT+enter anytime) and set everything like you can see below.

Once you’ve done that simply save it (look at the screenshot to find where to save).

If you really want to make a good video, this is hard though and you should try doing this once you’re getting quite good with editing. you should FIRST open your sound in Vegas and make the music match with the video from the beginning, that’s what I always do <3>> Open and find the proper file (CTRL+O)


You probably have something like this:


Now let’s see. On the timeline you can actually see your fraps. You can click on play (look at the screenshot if you can’t find it) and see the video on the bottom right. You can’t see it that good. But it’s good enough for editing.

Cutting(splitting) a fragment.

I’m going to tell it right away, if something goes wrong simply press CTRL+Z to undo (Or ALT+Y to redo).

This should be easy. Click on the fragment which is on the timeline. Click on “S” to Split it, that’s all.

You should do this quite often. For example, if you want to delete a part of the fragment. Let’s say you recorded 4 minutes but only the first minute is worth watching. Click on the fragment after that minute, click on “S” to split it. Click on the fragment you don’t need anymore (the 3 minutes that are left) and press on Delete, it will only delete the last 3 minutes since you splitted after the first minute.

Speeding up or slowing down.

Do not speed up or slow down too much. It makes the video pretty ghey. I almost only use it if I want to get the music matching with the footage lately.
To speed up or to slow down you must click on the far left or far right side of a fragment (like, at the beginning or the end of a fragment) and drag it inward or outward WHILE YOU HOLD CTRL. For speeding up, inward (so the fragment becomes smaller) and for speeding up, outward (so the fragment becomes bigger, no shit, lol.)
Some lines, like accordions appear on the fragment. Speeding up should look like this:


Overlapping (Text and video fragments).

Let’s start off with Overlapping Text, that’s easier.
1. Go to the Media generators tab next to Video FX.
2. Select “Text”.
3. Move a fraps fragment to a new timeline.
4. Drag the “sample text” to the 1st timeline.

Now you can already see the text overlapping your fraps footage. If you want to make the text bigger or smaller do the same thing as with speeding up or slowing down (dragging in-or-outward while holding CTRL). You can also change text settings with this icon:

Now over to overlapping video fragments.

You’ll need 2 different timelines for this as well. Move a fraps fragment to another timeline, underneath the part where you want to overlap, watch:


Now go to the compositing mode and set it to “add”, observe:


If everything went fine you just overlapped 2 video fragments. If you want to overlap 2 video fragments and a text fragment or even more you have to do the same but you’ll need more timelines for it.

Fading in and fading out.

Go to the upper right corner of a fragment. Some kind of arrow with a quarter part of a circle will appear. Move that to the left, you’ll get something like this:

Try playing it and look at the lithe camera at the right bottom of the screen again. It should fade out.
As for fading in start at the upper left corner of the fragment until that same thing appears. Move it to the right, you should get this:

Play it and see if it fades in, it should.

Zooming in(or out).

This is something that should be done a few times in a video, not too often of course but it looks pretty cool.
Right click on a video fragment in which you want to zoom in and go to “video event pan/crop”.

You should now see a small pop-up in the middle of your screen. This is where you have to work with if you want to zoom in. There are 2 things here you must know how to use. There’s a square with a “F” in it and a little timeline. Where you see the square is where the camera zooms in to. You can of course also move the square. Now look at how I zoomed in on this guy I killed (Looks pretty nice )


Now look at the timeline. That’s at what moment the camera zooms into the square. You probably get it, I know you do. And if you don’t, well, let’s say you want to start off without a zoom in and want it to zoom in after a few seconds. Click on the timeline after those few seconds, a little square will appear on the timeline and then make the square with the F in it smaller, observe:


This isn’t hard. It’s actually quite easy but it does, like most things require a lot of practicing. So you should create a lot of those squares at the timeline and zoom in different at all of them. Then start playing the video and look at the little video on the bottom right to see what it looks like.

Transitions

This is what makes editing so fun and easy. Zoom in or out on the timeline by clicking on it and scrolling up or down or by clicking on the + or – at the left corner:


Left click on a fragment and drag it halfway towards another one. A “X” will appear as those 2 fragments will fade out and fide in into each other:

You can already put a transition on the X which will make a nice effect. Go to the transitions tab on the bottom. Use the first one to check it out, it will look cool, trust me. Click on the transition and drag it to the “X”, look:


Now play it and look at the little camera at the right bottom off the screen. Looks cool huh? See, it’s not hard to edit
You can always use transitions on that “X” if you overlap 2 fragments and see that “X”. You can also use transitions at the beginning or at the end of a fragment, try it out ( you will probably have to make the transition bigger to make it look cool though).

If you want to use a transition in the middle of a fragment you should split (S) where you want to have that transition and drag the transition to that split:


Video fx

For special effects you can also use Video fx. But the main difference is that that it’s for the entire fragment. Go to the Video fx tab at the bottom. Click on of the effects, just use the first one for example (it’s not that good) but you’ll see what it looks like.


Play the fragment and see what it looks like.

Alright, you should know how to edit a bit now. You’ll get better by practicing and once you know how everything works start matching it with music.

Rendering

Once you’ve finished your video compress it.
Go to File>>Render as:

A pop-up will appear which allows you to set everything like you want.
Go to “Custom…”

A new pop-up will appear.
Set everything like this:

Go to the video tab and set everything like this. (You need a XviD MPEG-4 Codec for it)

Now go to Configure to set the xViD codec (look at my screenie)


Note: You only record between those triangles above the timeline:


Now save it:


You’re ready to render. Click on “Save as” or something, my version is dutch so I see “opslaan” =P and he’ll probably start rendering

Программа уменьшает пинг игры в среднем на 66%!!!
Подходит для операционок Windows XP (sp2) , Vista, Windows 7.

В Архиве находится 3 файла:

1)Фикс на уменьшение пинга
2)Проверка, работает ли фикс
3)Возвращение настроек на стандарт(сброс фикса)

Наслаждаемся :)

Как это работает:

ММО игры используют TCP протокол, который требует что бы все сегменты сети отправляемые к вашему компьютеру были опознаны - для того что бы осуществлять нормальное соединение.

Windows связывает эти  опознанные фрагменты вместе и отправляет их в парах. Пока в общем, это хороший способ работы с ними, но это создает неизбежные задержки и увеличение пинга.

Это потому-что когда Windows ставит в очередь опознанный элемент для того что бы связать его с другим, игровой сервер должен ждать пока таймер опознания истечет что бы отсылать новые данные.

Leatrix Latency Fix убирает это связывание и данные отсылаются моментально.
Это намного уменьшает пинг, так как задержек больше нету.

П.С.:(из личного опыта) изначально программа разработана для ВОВа! Посему при ее использовании теоритически может стать еще хуже!(благо есть откат). В общем пробуем, мне  помогло -  города стали грузится куда быстрее.

Mescalit0: Здравствуйте, расскажите пожалуйста о том как вы познакомились с Lineage II ?
Lolikun: Я услышал об этой игре и решил поиграть, мой друг уже играл на одном сервере (это был melcosoft - сервер еще далеких первых хроник), и предложил к нему присоединиться. На сколько я помню, моим первым чаром был темный эльф, но не долго, т.к. мы перешли на другой сервер (Antharas) и я начал качать гладиатора(Было прикольно проходить квесты на профу самому... особенно по 2му разу из-за отката сервера).
После того как сервер накрылся, мы пошли на elmore и играли там достаточно долго...

Mescalit0: Как вы оказались в клане ThugzMansion ?
Lolikun: В то время я уже толком не играл в Л2. Однажды я решил постучать в аську моему старому школьному другу - Кокошке [ MrKokoshka - которого вы все прекрасно знаете ], и узнать чем он живет.
Я узнал что он тоже начал играть в Л2, хотя сначала не хотел. Он предложил мне посмотреть  мувики его клана, я вдохновился ими, и во мне вновь проснулось желание играть. Затем Коко предложил мне поиграть с его кланом, и сказал что через несколько минут мне напишет КЛ. Так и случилось, через пару минут в мою аську постучался какой-то парень, первая фраза которого была – «Я твой КЛ» Так я и оказался в клане ThugzMansion, в котором нахожусь и по сей день.

Mescalit0: Не смотря на то, что вы не являетесь ни одним из основателей клана, ни одним из старейших его членов, многих не покидает ощущение, что вы всегда были в ТМе... Как вам это удается?
Lolikun: действительно, я очень быстро влился в коллектив. Наверное, я просто легко умею находить общий язык с любым человеком…

Mescalit0: Тогда как объяснить те случаи когда люди после разговора с вами наедине в Тeam Speak`e пропадали на длительные сроки?
Lolikun: Ну же не виноват, что у людей слабая психика… Иногда я просто встаю не с той ноги ( смущенно потупил взгляд ).

Mescalit0: У вас много "имён", пожалуй, больше всех в клане... Не могли бы вы рассказать истории происхождения хотя бы некоторых из них?
Lolikun: Мой первый ник в ТМе - Viridis, предложил мне Чех. Это слово с латыни переводится как «Зеленый», что олицетворяло мой выбранный класс персонажа, ведь тогда я играл за Овера.
Что касается ника ToxinSon, то он получился совершено случайно. Когда мы играли на Мафии я хотел назваться Тохин-сан ( на японский манер ), но мы с Чехом забыли как пишется «- san» и по ошибке написали «-son», вот так и получился Сын Токсина xD
После этого меня так звали довольно долго…
Ну а Lolikun, мой основной ник, возник в результате скрещения слова «Loli» ( сокращение от lolicon ) и японского именного суффикса «-кун» ( а все потому, что я душа компании xD )

Mescalit0: Какие игроки среди друзей и врагов, вам запомнились больше всего, и чем?
Lolikun: Я не могу вспомнить ники врагов, но я с радостью поделюсь с вами некоторыми фразами, которые были отпущены в мою сторону или в сторону моего клана:
- «Вы что, неприятности на жопу ищите !?»
- «Стой тут я сейчас прилечу!»
- «Учти, ты нарвался на клан донов…»
Из друзей клана мне запомнился Glowriderr своей фразой: «С таким отношением ваш клан долго не протянет». Он был хорошим парнем, но не всегда понимал внутриклановые шутки…

Mescalit0: Какие кланы вы хотели бы отметить и чем?
Lolikun: Больше всего мне запомнился клан ThugzMansion, который «с таким отношением» протянул уже почти 6 лет, и я надеюсь, что он протянет еще десятков 6…

Mescalit0: Какие сервера вам хотелось бы отметить, в том или ином плане?
Lolikun: l2server.ru - т.к. это было первое время, проведенное с моим новым кланом.
Frienz-l2 - т.к там было весело с кланом, мы были сплоченными и организованными.
L2Mafia (Ken Orwen) - там были неплохие замесы(пвп, пк, Ганги и тд )

Mescalit0: А какие моменты или событие больше всего запомнились вам на этих серверах?
Lolikun: Могу отметить 3 события :
- фарм Антараса 1ной фулкой.
- фарм кариков на Frienz`e , это было весело и продуктивно )
- момент на Кен орвене когда мы пришли в 3ем (Я, Коко, и Топик) и разложили больше 2х фулок.

Mescalit0: А что на счет самого большого разочарования?
Lolikun: Одним из нелицеприятных моментов, случился на L2Mafia, когда наш верный Кл слишком часто афкашил.

Mescalit0: Что, по-вашему, является залогом успеха в Lineage 2?
Lolikun: TeamPlay

Mescalit0: На какие категории Вы бы разделили игроков?
Lolikun: Нуб, русское быдло, и ТМ xD
